The main objective of this 4-year full-time program is to educate students to achieve sufficient engineering knowledge, skills and specialization to meet demands of the job market and the national development objectives.

Civil & Environmental Engineers apply science and technology to develop engineered solutions to environmental, public health, and ecological problems. They deal with issues in water supply and sanitation, waste management, pollution control, construction, health and safety, environmental monitoring, planning and management, environmental data collection and analysis, operation and maintenance, etc. Graduates are well-equipped for further education at postgraduate level anywhere in the world.

The undergraduate program is a full-time day program and applications can be made year-round for the next intake.
Ugandan applicants
o UACE certificate with at least 2 principal passes in the required subjects at the same sitting.
o Diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning in a relevant field.
o A Pass in the Mature Age Examination

International applicants
Applicants must have qualifications that are recognized for University entry in their respective countries for an equivalent Bachelor of Science degree program.

The Engineering programs train skilled, versatile, professional and ethical graduates for the national and international workplace. This enables them to practice as professional engineers upon graduation and meeting requirements for registration by the professional board. Graduates can work as District Engineers, Consultants; Project Engineers, Lecturers, Project Managers, Researchers, among others.
